About this App
This tool is set up to accurately and efficiently gather all the physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial demands required for a Job Demands Analysis (JDA). You select which demands are relative to the job you are assessing.
The tool is broken up into 10 key sections. Simple data entry fields and pick lists are used to gather information about the job you are assessing. A flag icon is provided to “red flag” any areas of specific concern. You simply work through each section filling in the information related to the job you are assessing. It is a long process, but you can save your work and return to it as required. At the end a final report is generated that can also be exported to a PDF file. You can duplicate existing JDAs to use as a starting point for creating new ones, access completed assessments, final reports and archive older JDA’s.
This tool originated as an Excel-based spreadsheet developed by OHCOW Ergonomists. It was then adapted, designed and built as a web-based tool for greater ease-of-use and accessibility. The following references were used in it’s development:

Occupational Health Clinics for Ontario Workers (OHCOW) adheres to the privacy acts published by the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Ontario. All information collected through this survey is confidential and will be viewed only by the researchers directly involved in this project. No information that could be used to identify you will be kept by the research team.
